About: Brazilian Space Program's second studio recording. Essentially Normal represents continued exploration into structured groove compositions that feature free, improvised sections. It is a balancing act. Each song performed live in studio with all the emotion and risk swirling around the room. The instruments were tuned to A=432Hz to experiment with resonant frequencies. Everything was retuned, including the guitar, each drum, and all 105 tines of the Rhodes and bass Rhodes.
